This section allows you to customize and manage various aspects of your booking process. From branding and page design to setting rules and managing client interactions, these settings give you full control over how appointments are scheduled, displayed, and handled. Whether it’s optimizing your booking page for search engines, setting limits to avoid overbooking, or managing client reviews, these tools are designed to enhance the booking experience for both you and your clients.
To access the booking settings, log in to your account, navigate to the left side menu, and select “Booking Settings.”
Brand Settings:
This section allows you to view and edit several details related to your brand.
You can see the URL of your booking page, which was set up during the initial login process and can only be configured once. It is not editable afterward.
You will also have the option to select a cover photo and profile photo, which will be displayed to your clients when they access your booking page.
Additionally, you can assign or edit your brand name, phone number, email address, industry type, and currency.
You can update your business location address or even add multiple locations if needed.
However, please note that some features depend on your user plan.
Booking Page:
You have the flexibility to design your booking page to match your brand’s theme and style. This includes customizing brand colours, fonts, and other design elements to create a cohesive look that reflects your business identity.
From the “My Booking Pages” option, you can create your own booking page tailored to your brand theme. You can adjust the font colour, font family, and font size to align with your company’s image.
Additionally, we offer a selection of professionally designed templates in the “Templates” section. These templates are created by our design experts and can be easily customized to fit your business needs. Simply select a template and modify a few details to match your business information for a well-designed booking page quickly.
You can edit booking hours, style, and other features to make the page both attractive and functional.
The booking page you design will be accessed by your customers when they visit your website or the landing page for scheduling appointments.
No advanced technical skills are required, basic knowledge is sufficient to set up and customize your booking page. We have designed the process to be user friendly and straightforward, ensuring you can create a visually appealing and effective booking page with ease.
Booking Rules or Policies:
The “Booking Rules” section allows you to customize the sections and functionalities of your booking page to meet your specific needs. Here’s an overview of the available options:
Sections
Book Appointment: This section is where clients can schedule their appointments. It provides an interface for selecting the date, time, and services they require.
About Us: Use this section to provide information about your business, including its history, mission, and values. This helps build trust and informs clients about your company.
Our Teams: Showcase your team members in this section. Clients can view details about each team member, including their roles and specialties, helping them choose the right person for their appointment.
Services: List the services you offer in this section. Clients can review the available options and select the services they need when booking their appointment.
Rules
First Available Appointment: Automatically schedule or show the earliest available appointment slot for clients, making the booking process more convenient for them.
Skip Team Members: Allow clients to bypass team member selection.
Any Team Member: Let clients book an appointment with any available team member, providing flexibility and ease in scheduling.
Provide Multiple Services: Enable clients to select multiple services in a single booking, streamlining the process and improving their experience.
Customer Login: Require customers to log in before booking an appointment. This can help manage client information and provide a personalized experience.
Hide AppointUs Branding: Remove AppointUs branding from the booking page to maintain a seamless brand experience and align the page with your business’s identity.
Allow Online Rescheduling: Permit clients to reschedule their appointments online, offering flexibility and convenience for managing their bookings.
All Online Cancellations: Enable clients to cancel their appointments online, making it easier for them to manage changes without direct contact.
Book New Appointment Button: Include a prominent button that allows clients to quickly schedule a new appointment from the booking page.
Enable User Review: Allow clients to leave reviews and feedback after their appointment / service, which can help you gather valuable insights and improve your services.
Recurring Fields: Enable this option to allow clients to schedule appointments that repeat at intervals such as daily, weekly, or monthly, or disable it to limit bookings to single, one time appointments.
Booking Reference:
The booking reference is linked to the “Book Now” button in the booking widget displayed on your own website. When customers click this button, a pop-up window opens on the left or right side of your site, allowing them to view existing appointments and schedule new ones. This seamless integration of your website with our platform enables easy booking for appointments, events, classes, and other services, enhancing customer interaction and convenience.
When you first access this section, you might not see the “Book Now” widget options as shown in the image above. To enable this feature, navigate to the menu on the left side of your screen, select Integrations, and then choose Business Apps. Locate the Booking Widget and click Connect as it is showing below
Once connected, the “Book Now” functionality will become available for use in the Booking Reference.
Now, you will be able to see the code provided in Booking References and the selection of “Book Now” Positions.
Copy the code and embed it on your website. Once integrated, the “Book Now” button will appear, allowing clients to easily schedule appointments directly on your site.
Once your client clicks on the “Book Now” button on your website, they will see a view like the flow of options during scheduling an appointment or an event, as shown in the images below.
Waiting List:
This feature enables customers to join a waiting list when all appointment slots for a given day are fully booked. It allows them to show interest in an appointment if a slot becomes available due to a cancellation.
When a slot opens, all customers on the waiting list for that date will receive an email notification. The first customer to respond will have the chance to book the newly available slot. Each customer is limited to one active waiting list booking for a particular service and provider on that date.
To join the waiting list, customers only need to provide basic information or log in/register. Payments and additional details will be handled during the regular booking process.
The waiting list feature supports only certain types of appointment segments and may not be suitable for all sectors.
Number of Free Slots Notification Attempts: This option lets you automatically notify people on the waiting list when a free slot is available. Notifications will be sent once the number of remaining slots reaches the number you set.
Team Members: You can choose whether the waiting list feature needs to apply for all team members or just selected ones. For selected team members, you can also set a limit on how many people can join the waiting list for their appointments.
Number of Bookings: This option lets you set a maximum limit for the waiting list. For example, if you allow a total of 100 bookings and set a waiting list limit of 10 (Number of Bookings), then up to 100 people can book their appointments directly, and 10 additional people can join the waiting list. If someone tries to book after the total reaches 110, they will be informed that no bookings are available, and they will not have the option to join the waiting list.
Limit Bookings:
If you offer a service or a range of services, you likely have a specific limit on how many appointments you can handle in a day or how many people you can meet. This option allows you to set a maximum number of bookings per day, week, or month, ensuring you don’t overbook and can manage your appointments effectively without disappointing clients due to a high volume of bookings and a limited number of service providers.
Limit Booking: You can choose to apply a maximum booking limit based on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
Team Members: You can either apply a uniform setting for all team members or set different maximum limits for individual team members.
Number of Bookings: This setting applies to all team members, specifying the maximum number of bookings each can handle. For example, if you set the limit to 4 (Number of Bookings) and you have 5 team members, you will be able to accommodate a total of 20 bookings.

For any business with an online presence, SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is essential. It helps search engines and users find your website more easily. This feature can significantly boost your online visibility, increase traffic, and create new opportunities for attracting visitors.
Title: Titles are crucial elements that search engines use to understand the content of your website. You can now create relevant and compelling titles for your appointusonline.com booking website, helping search engines identify and rank your site more effectively.
Description: It provides a summary of your website’s content. Crafting effective descriptions for your appointusonline.com booking site will improve how search engines display your site in search results, making it more likely that users will click through when they search for related keywords.
Keywords: It means tags, that help organize your website’s content by labelling different sections, making it easier for search engines to understand and display your site in relevant search results.
